ANIMA QUIN
Tangible design workshop to create Animaquin, the first ever mannequin that gives the opportunity to the customer to interact with it and make his/her own combinations. The new mannequin is separated in two parts and each part is equipped with mechanical arms that support and move each part into a central point, so the user can make a combination of the depicting clothes. The system is recognizing specific gestures that make the mannequins move and place position that form a full mannequin figure. Thanks of Leap Motion we send the data of the position of our finger to distinguish where we are pointing. This data goes to a grid, made by openFramework, and with Arduino, it’s transformed into the movement of the respective arm.
